An exciting opportunity has arisen within a long-established legal firm, offering a supportive environment where talent is nurtured.

Working with Partners, fee-earners and other secretarial and administrative colleagues, in a workforce that is dedicated to providing outstanding legal advice and customer service both in Jersey and internationally, you will provide timely and accurate administrative support, demonstrating high standards of client care in a professional and courteous manner.

Ideally you will be willing to be flexible with working hours during times of peak workload.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking telephone calls and writing up notes for client files  

  • Drafting correspondence

  • Preparing court bundles

  • Holding initial appointments with clients and opening new client files

  • Diary management, arranging meetings and taking bookings 

  • Preparing probate applications and drafting wills

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within the legal sector 

  • Knowledge of legal language, process and practice 

  • High level of literacy and numeracy 

  • Strong organisational skills 

  • Proactive and disciplined approach to tasks
