An exciting opportunity for a junior governance professional to join a leading law firm in a newly created role where you can expect to have an interesting and diverse workload covering all six of the company’s locations.

With the opportunity for progression, this role is ideal for a recent graduate or school leaver or someone who already had one or two years of corporate administration experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and attending board and committee meetings 

  • Preparing and sending virtual board packs and drafting minutes 

  • Assisting with entity administration, including maintenance of registers and statutory books, filings and registration renewals 

  • Acting as a point of contact on governance related matters for all company secretaries and directors  

  • Maintaining the authorised signatory list

  • Ensuring due diligence document is kept up to date

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong academic background and either currently studying towards or willing to study towards a relevant professional qualification 

  • Self-stater, proactive and ability to manage and take ownership of own workload 

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion 

  • An understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements for trust and company businesses or fund services businesses, however this is not essential as training will be provided
