Responsibilities will include:
Managing the service desk team, providing leadership and coaching
Ensuring a high level of technical support is provided to the business
Identifying potential opportunities to improve the efficiency of the service desk function
Taking ownership of logged incidents, tracking the progress of calls and following up to ensure problems are resolved
Monitoring and recording hardware availability and software usage, to ensure licences are managed
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience within an IT environment, preferably in a service desk function
Either hold or willing to study towards a professional qualification, such as ITIL Foundation level certificate
Knowledge of Office 365 and user/licence management
Excellent customer service skills
A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
