Provide an efficient IT support service to a professional services firm, acting as first point of contact for any queries.
Whilst previous desktop support experience would be an advantage, this is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong interest in IT, looking to start or change their career.
Responsibilities will include:
Resolving queries via telephone, email or remote access
Monitoring daily backups for failures and errors, escalating problems as required
Checking computer equipment for electrical safety, managing stocks of equipment and maintaining records of software licences
Keeping up to date with changes in technology and making recommendations for improvements where necessary
Experience and skills required:
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Good problem solving skills and enthusiastic approach to tasks
Desire to work towards becoming CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, MTA, MCSA certified
Knowledge in Office 365 and the Windows domain environment would be an advantage
