Provide an efficient IT support service to a professional services firm, acting as first point of contact for any queries.

Whilst previous desktop support experience would be an advantage, this is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong interest in IT, looking to start or change their career.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving queries via telephone, email or remote access

  • Monitoring daily backups for failures and errors, escalating problems as required

  • Checking computer equipment for electrical safety, managing stocks of equipment and maintaining records of software licences

  • Keeping up to date with changes in technology and making recommendations for improvements where necessary

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good problem solving skills and enthusiastic approach to tasks

  • Desire to work towards becoming CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, MTA, MCSA certified

  • Knowledge in Office 365 and the Windows domain environment would be an advantage
