An interesting and varied role with a professional financial services company, supporting the efficient day to day operations of company IT systems.

Using your experience gained from a previous IT support role, you will help to resolve reported IT issues from staff and provide support with ongoing IT projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day to day IT systems and operations to ensure the business can operate efficiently

  • Providing staff with efficient support and recording and tracking the resolutions of IT issues

  • Assisting with the implementation of IT projects and managing third party relationships

  • Managing the company intranet

  • Keeping up to date with technology changes, regulatory requirements and reviewing current IT processes 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an IT support function 

  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft365, Active Directory, Windows 10/11 operating systems, DNS, DHCP and VEEAM backup and replication 

  • Previous experience with LAN and WAN topologies and technologies as well as troubleshooting network/connectivity related problems

  • Hold COMPTIA certification (A+ Network or Security+), or willing to study towards an accreditation

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
