Gain experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting the IT operations team on a 6 month contract.
Within this role you will primarily provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to all system users, escalating logged issues as appropriate. You will also support the maintenance of all IT equipment and business systems, ensuring an efficient service is provided at all times.
You will work a set of core hours on a rotational basis and ideally be able to show some flexibility to provide cover, as required.
Responsibilities will include:
Installing and configuring IT business systems hardware and software, assisting with system changes and new user set ups
Accurately recording and reporting all system issues on system fault logs
Completing daily IT operations system checks and tasks, undertaking diagnostics and fault resolution
Undertaking print server management and administration
Testing and deploying new hardware and software
Experience and skills required:
Sound knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, server products and Office 365
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Hold a current driving licence as you will be providing support to several sites
A relevant professional qualification such as A+ Network+, would be an advantage but is not essential
