An award-winning banking and investment firm with a strong global presence, is currently seeking an IT professional to provide interim network and telecoms infrastructure support.
During this contract, which will run for 3 to 6 months, you will provide hands-on infrastructure support with network and equipment queries.

Responsibilities will include:
Liaising with service providers and local telecom companies for billing and service purposes
Monitoring invoices and reconciling against budget
Undertaking first and second line network support
Assisting with equipment installation and updates
Monitoring the performance of network and telecoms services and proactively dealing with any issues
Experience and skills required:
Understanding of LAN switching, network routing, internet protocol and virtual private networks
Knowledge of telecoms principles and Cisco Unified Call Manager
Experience managing relationships with service providers and telecoms companies
Proactive approach to tasks and strong problem solving skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
