Under the direction of the Technology Services Delivery Manager, you will act as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance and perform remote troubleshooting to determine the best solution, based on the issue and details provided by the customer.
Responsibilities will include:
Logging support tickets and providing basic solutions, escalating where necessary
Reviewing and updating helpdesk-related support documentation
Monitoring support calls and identify ‘hot spots’ in relation to IT systems and infrastructure, reporting these as required
Setting up new user accounts and managing user administration for systems
Supporting the delivery of IT related training for new and current staff
Experience and skills required:
Good academic background
Willingness to study towards a professional IT qualification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
