Reporting to the Executive Board, you will create and implement a firm wide internal communications program and strategy to connect and engage employees across all jurisdictions and keep them informed of the company’s vision, goals and projects. This is a new role which can be based in either Jersey, Guernsey or London.
Responsibilities will include:
Engaging with local offices to support and promote the value of internal communications, building a network from which to source relevant information for news stories or other communications
Working closely with senior management, HR and marketing teams to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery
Developing a variety of communications using mail, software and intranet, championing the use of video and alternative media formats
Providing analysis and management reports on communications engagement
Developing the firm’s alumni program, working with colleagues to deliver an action plan for alumni engagement that drives referrals, attracts talent and enhances the firm’s reputation
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a professional services firm
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and either hold or working towards the CIM/CIPR qualification
Strong writing, editing and proof reading skills
Working knowledge of SharePoint and other intranet systems
Confident communicator and presenter
Good understanding of current trends in digital and social media
