Play a key role in the continuing success of the claims function of a leading commercial business, leading the claims team in Jersey and ensuring an excellent customer service is provided.

In this managerial role you will oversee all operational aspects of the claims team, reviewing service delivery and measuring performance against targets.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a line manager for team members, including managing performance and absence  

  • Supporting and encouraging change initiatives through identifying opportunities to increase efficiency

  • Developing strong working relationships with colleagues and third party providers  

  • Reviewing performance and service delivery targets 

  • Coaching and providing guidance  

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous team management or leadership experience  

  • Experience in claims handling 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation tasks 

  • Proactive approach to tasks
