A global provider of financial services is currently seeking a HR Business Partner to provide support to their team on a 6 month contract.

Within this role, you will provide advice to Managers and Directors on a range of HR areas, such as diversity, employee engagement, absence management, resourcing, and employee relations.

You will also play a key role in supporting the delivery of HR related projects and recruitment activities across the organisation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy 

  • Acting as primary point of contact for all HR advisory activities 

  • Working to understand the business culture, segment needs, and employee needs 

  • Providing advice on trends driving high performance and playing a central role in the implementation of HR project/change initiatives

  • Keeping to date with any changes in legislation

  • Identifying staff training and development needs

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner role, ideally within financial services

  • Up to date knowledge of current Jersey Employment Law 

  • CIPD professional designation 

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills 

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
