In this dual role, you will act as the main contact for all user queries and issues and also provide training to all staff and new starters on IT system and applications. Ideally you will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to confidently communicate with all levels of staff about technical matters.
Previous experience in IT or training will be advantageous but is not necessary for this role
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as a key contact for IT helpdesk calls and helping to resolve issues
Providing general workstation and end-user support, including managing relationships with third party vendors
Accurately updating and maintaining IT registers and logs
Preparing and delivering training to new starters on the IT systems and applications used
Creating and updating IT training support materials
Experience and skills required:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite, systems and relevant software packages
Previous IT or training experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently, using own initiative
Excellent time management skills
