A rewarding senior level role to lead the accounting and bookkeeping team within a growing funds and corporate services business.
Reporting to the Head of Client Operations, you will ensure the most recent accounting standards and disclosures are adopted by the company and the services are following best practice. You will provide support with technical accounting matters in regards to private equity and real estate fund administration.
You will be expected to deliver internal accounting training and a high standard of excellence to ensure services are delivered in line with the group’s values and behaviours.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the technical team and bookkeeping team
Managing and resolving technical queries raised by accounting teams across the Group
Undertaking complex financial statement reviews
Acting as a point of reference for the business
Organising and conducting group accounting training
Experience and skills required:
Hold a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience
Previous experience in close ended structures and reviewing financial statements to UK GAAP, Lux GAAP and IFRS
Knowledge of Safe, Caseware, NavOne, Investran OR Key time is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of private equity asset classes and strategies (venture, growth, buyout, debt, real assets)
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
