Drive and maintain the operational risk framework in a well-regarded global bank, where you will have an active role in business continuity planning and developing risk management strategies.
Leading and managing the operational risk team, you will promote company engagement with a strong risk culture and support the analysis of potential impacts to the business profile. You will also support company decision making on controls to manage any identified risks.

Responsibilities will include:
Developing, maintaining and implementing the operational risk framework, covering strategy, policy, processes and governance
Implementing a business continuity programme and driving automation
Attending governance and risk committee meetings and providing insights and assessments where remediations are required
Overseeing the development of a risk programme to guide business managers on appropriate risk control strategies which coordinate assessments, incident records and analysis
Assisting cyber risk assessments
Experience and skills required:
Hold a relevant professional compliance or risk qualification
Minimum 8 years’ risk or compliance experience within the finance industry
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Strong leadership skills
