A unique opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a newly established financial services business and have responsibility for the management of the group’s accounting and tax matters.
Working closely with the executive team, you will be responsible for developing financial internal controls, policies and procedures and assist with board reporting. You will also ensure the smooth financial operation of all business-as-usual activities.
As Head of Finance you will play a critical role in the international expansion of this company.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing the financial reporting framework
Presenting to the executive management team the financial position and performance of the group and advising on the financial implications of activities
Supporting international expansion plans and developing the hedging strategy
Implementing financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems
Working with the COO to prepare financial forecasts, budgets and cashflow projections
Experience and skills required:
Finance experience in an international and regulated environment
Qualified Accountant and strong academic background
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting
Confident presentation skills and ability to influence the board
Solid analytical and decision-making skills
