An opportunity to hold a key role within an international workforce, helping to maintain the market-leading position of this award-winning fiduciary services business.

You will have executive responsibility for fiduciary services in Jersey, ensuring that the business operates within all regulatory and legislative frameworks and delivers consistent, high quality service to all clients to contribute to the long-term sustainability and profitability of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing input into the formation of the overall wealth international strategy

  • Contributing to the development of the annual business plan

  • Engaging with the regulator to ensure all regulatory obligations are met through the implementation of effective controls in line with licensing obligations

  • Serving as an “A” Class Signatory for the company and Director on client company boards

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of complex clients

  • Contributing to business development initiatives with existing clients, professional intermediaries and other contacts to ensure a constant inflow of new business that meets clients’ needs

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally hold a relevant professional qualification such as LLB/LLM/ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CTA/ACIB

  • Full professional qualifications, or membership of appropriate and recognised industry qualifications to meet the requirements of a suitably qualified person as stated in Table 1 of the first schedule of the Jersey Financial Services Commission’s Codes of Practice (Category A) together with any other requirements to meet the commission’s Principal Person’s fit and proper requirements

  • Extensive senior management experience in a trust of fiduciary environment

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills

  • An understanding of the banking industry
