Become an integral part of a well-regarded company, leading the operational teams which provide help desk support and maintain regulatory registry information.
As Head of Central Operations, you will support the day-to-day operations of the business, authorising submissions and supporting the resolution of client service enquiries. You will also act as a higher level to escalate queries to and contribute to the continued embedding of this company’s strong compliance culture.
Ideally, you will have in-depth knowledge of the financial services environment and also Jersey and international regulatory standards. You will also use your previous experience of delivering results through team working, to contribute to the continued efficient operations of this business.
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing performance to ensure set key performance indicators (KPIs) are met
Keeping up to date with any legislative changes and helping with planning to align with current procedures and systems
Reviewing and approving registry applications, considering potential risks
Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including relevant trade bodies and regulatory bodies
Reviewing regulatory maintenance tasks for all regulated and registered entities
Leading, developing and coaching staff, including managing team workloads
Experience and skills required:
Well-developed understanding of Jersey and international regulatory standards
Previous experience leading a team and delivering results through team working
Good attention to detail
In depth knowledge of and experience within financial services
Hold a relevant professional qualification
