As Group Operations Director, you will have principal responsibility for the day-to-day operational and commercial activity across the organisation and its subsidiaries. You will lead the design, implementation and oversight of internal processes and controls, including key risk and key performance management information.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development, oversight and implementation of the Group strategy (and that of its subsidiaries) and the associated governance framework, with particular emphasis on operational/commercial activity

  • Supporting the Group and its subsidiaries with financial planning, budgeting and reporting driving the commercial performance of the business appropriately

  • Support for operational teams in locations outside of Jersey and line management responsibility for non- client facing functional heads

  • Effective and efficient delivery of day-to-day operational activity to ensure these meet the business and clients’ needs working closely with key stakeholders

  • Project and wider change management accountability ensuring best practice is shared across the Group and its subsidiaries

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified Accountant with technical and practical experience of leading operational/functional teams

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills

  • Previous experience in strategic planning 

  • Commercial awareness and good knowledge and understanding of current industry, legislation, regulation and working practices

  • Excellent leadership and time management skills
