This is a great opportunity to join an independent trustee and corporate administration firm, performing a full range of governance and secretarial administration support, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

As Group Company Secretarial Officer, you will act as a point of communication between the Board of Directors, shareholders and senior management, and ensure companies comply with terms and regulatory requirements.

This could be a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager with previous company secretarial experience, to take the next the next step in their career and gain critical industry exposure.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing corporate diaries, preparing agencies and collating papers for meetings​

  • Taking minutes, drafting resolutions and following up on action points​

  • Maintaining statutory books, records, company registers and signatory lists

  • ​Monitoring changes in legislation and communicating these to the boards

  • Ensuring all terms of reference remain valid and preparing correspondence ​

Experience and skills required:

  • ​Knowledge of corporate governance issues and confident to support high-profile company and board members

  • ​Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as ICSA or equivalent

  • Good written and verbal communication skills​

  • Excellent attention to detail​ and organisational skills

  • ​Discretion when handling confidential information
