A well-regarded fiduciary services provider is currently seeking a compliance professional to join their team as Fund Compliance Manager.
Within this role you will provide oversight and support to the growing funds business. You will also liaise with the central compliance team to ensure compliance with the law and relevant internal policies and procedures during the provision of its services, to individual fund clients and managed entities.
You will also play a key role in contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of an effective compliance function for the funds business and assist with projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as principal compliance contact for client entities, the business and JFSC
Contributing to the design, implementation and management of compliance monitoring programmes, drafting reports and making recommendations
Reviewing potential new business, including reviewing take-on forms, client due diligence profiles and risk assessments
Liaising with the Group Head of Compliance and Risk to ensure a consistent compliance approach is embedded across the group
Assisting employees with queries regarding compliance or client due diligence issues
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ financial services industry experience, preferably in a fund services business compliance environment
Hold a relevant professional compliance qualification
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently communicate with all levels of the business
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
