A great opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a boutique alternative investment services provider for 12 months.
Working in this inspiring environment you will have the opportunity to work amongst highly respected colleagues in their fields, and have responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for one or more assigned structures.
Responsibilities will include:
Ownership of bookkeeping transactions and maintenance of accounting records for multiple client entities
Preparing timely and accurate accounting output for subsequent review by the senior members of the team or client
Preparing monthly/quarterly reconciliations of management accounts, promptly researching and correcting any variances
Liaising and responding to clients, and third parties ensuring third party requests or queries are dealt with appropriately
Escalating identified issues or concerns appropriately and in a timely manner
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 1 years’ experience in real estate fund accounting
Previous experience with Yardi systems
Strong academic background, including A* to B at GCSE, ABB at A level (or equivalent) and 2.1 degree
Either hold or currently studying towards a relevant professional accounting qualification
Strong communication skills, organised, flexible and keen to learn
