As Financial Controller you will oversee the financial and regulatory reporting for the organisation. You will also undertake aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and oversee the development of internal control policies and procedures for entities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts​

  • Supervising cost management, including identifying overspends and company trends​

  • Preparing and submitting quarterly returns​ and regulatory reports

  • Coordinating the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts​

  • Assisting in the preparation of a departmental business continuity plan and monitoring areas of operational risk​

Experience and skills required:

  • Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ICAEW)​

  • Previous monthly management accounting and annual statutory accounting experience​

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and IFRS​

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks​

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail​
