In this contract, that could last up to six months, you will be responsible for the processing of day-to-day financial transactions and supporting other members of the accounting team in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing fixed asset registers ensuring that all capital expenditure is authorised and accounted for in line with group policy
Managing the sales and purchase ledgers, bookkeeping inter-company, related party and supplier invoices, ensuring that all invoices and expenses are within budget
Preparing the daily bank account and treasury loan note blotter
Reconciling financial discrepancies
Providing support and perform ad hoc reporting as requested by the Head of Accounting
Experience and skills required:
Strong A levels and a bookkeeping or accountancy foundation level qualification are desirable
Proven track record of successfully working within a professional services environment
Strong personal organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise their workload
Knowledge of financial reporting systems and their application within a complex business
