In this role you will assist with the preparation of financial statements for both Jersey and international holding companies and keep up to date with any changes in the regulatory environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Recording, bookkeeping and reconciling financial transactions 

  • Coordinating the quarterly billing process 

  • Assisting with debtor reporting and collection

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual GST and VAT returns

  • Assisting with client account reconciliation and reporting 

Experience and skills required:

  • Either hold or currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience and the ability to produce financial statements in accordance with FRS102 and IFRS for companies or trusts

  • Basic knowledge of GST, VAT, UK and Jersey tax 

  • Good working knowledge of excel and both computerised and manual accounting systems 

  • Proactive and analytical approach to tasks
