A leading independent offshore bank and trust company is currently seeking a qualified Accountant to join their Guernsey office on a permanent basis.
As Finance Manager you will prepare and oversee the production of financial plans and financial and management reporting, regulatory reporting and planning requirements for the group. You will also provide ongoing finance support to the various business units.

Responsibilities will include:
Producing, delivering and overseeing the production of management accounts, group reporting packs and regulatory reports
Reviewing and editing draft commentaries for monthly management accounts received from department heads
Preparing statutory financial statements and tax returns for submission
Assisting with the development of a robust internal controls framework, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Preparing financial plans/budgets for the group
Experience and skills required:
ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience post qualification experience within a finance services organisation
Good technical knowledge and experience of reporting under UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS accounting methodologies
Previous experience working with a computer-based accounting and banking system
Detailed knowledge of the JFSC/GFSC regulatory reporting requirements and Basel III
