Acting as a link between strategic finance departments and the business, you will communicate with stakeholders to ensure expenditure is prioritised effectively. You will also help to drive decision making and ensure departmental budgets are aligned with the overall corporate plan.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner, or a Management Accountant who is looking to progress into this role. Flexible working arrangement available as well as remote, hybrid or an in-office option. Permanent ideally although contract with view to permanent will also be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing high quality financial advice on policy, risks, costs and performance metrics
Using generated finance reports to interpret financial performance and drive financial forecasting
Performing analysis on potential commercial opportunities and financial targets
Month-end accounts, journals, ledgers, payments, raising purchase orders
Acting as a coach to develop financial management understanding
Building strong working relationships with stakeholders
Experience and skills required:
Previous experience working with construction contracts and good understanding of contract liability would be ideal but not essential
Ability to work with project delivery teams to identify risks, opportunities and cost saving options
Confident communication and negotiation skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
