An exciting opportunity to join new local accountancy firm, where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of local clients and contribute to the company’s growth.

Supporting the Finance Manager and Chief Finance Officer, you will prepare payments and invoices and accurately maintain company books.

A very flexible role, ideally you will be available for 20 hours per week (9am to 1pm), and either part-qualified or have at least 3 years accounting experience. This is flexible and more hours may be considered. Individuals with a bookkeeping background will also be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing bank reconciliations​

  • Maintaining books and records for companies​

  • Making payments and reconciling in various currencies​

  • Preparing invoices and assisting with reporting​

  • Processing staff expenses claims​

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience of using Xero accounting software would be ideal but not essential

  • Willing to learn and adapt​

  • Ability to work well within a team and independently ​
