An exciting opportunity to join new local accountancy firm, where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of local clients and contribute to the company’s growth.
Supporting the Finance Manager and Chief Finance Officer, you will prepare payments and invoices and accurately maintain company books.
A very flexible role, ideally you will be available for 20 hours per week (9am to 1pm), and either part-qualified or have at least 3 years accounting experience. This is flexible and more hours may be considered. Individuals with a bookkeeping background will also be considered.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing bank reconciliations
Maintaining books and records for companies
Making payments and reconciling in various currencies
Preparing invoices and assisting with reporting
Processing staff expenses claims
Experience and skills required:
Experience of using Xero accounting software would be ideal but not essential
Willing to learn and adapt
Ability to work well within a team and independently
