A global and award-winning investment company is currently seeking a motivated Finance Assistant, to join their finance function on a 1 year fixed term contract.

In this varied role as Finance Assistant, you will have responsibility for financial reporting and settling invoices, working closely with the business finance functions. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely settlement of supplier/purchase invoices

  • Overseeing the accounts payable workflow within the group’s finance system

  • Reconciling bank payments

  • Ensuring required authorisations and approvals are obtained for all payments

  • Assisting the financial controllers with the month-end process and management reporting

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience

  • Previous experience working with accounting systems

  • Good numeracy skills

  • Highly organised and excellent interpersonal skills
