An independent trust company with an emphasis on providing quality services to clients at all times, is currently seeking a trust professional with previous file review experience to assist their team on a 6-month contract.

As a key member of the team, you will undertake reviews of trust and company files, including carrying out periodic reviews and assisting with take-on and exiting procedures, as assigned.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Completing file review checklists 

  • Ensuring documentation is accurate and kept up to date 

  • Reviewing client identification documentation to ensure compliance with internal requirements and Jersey legislation 

  • Reporting outstanding matters using in house systems and escalating identified deficiencies, as appropriate 

  • Recording time accurately and ensuring effective communication with colleagues

Experience and skills required:

  • Either hold or currently working towards a relevant professional qualification, or qualified by experience 

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines 

  • Good communication skills 

  • Ability to work using discretion
