Play a vital role in an globally renowned multi-family office that is committed to employee development and wellbeing. You will oversee the smooth running of complex structures, providing technical advice, and ensuring entities are administered to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Head of the Family Office Jersey, you will be involved in close and regular interaction with clients, advisors, co-trustees and other divisions and business units within the group. You will also act on the boards of corporate trustee and corporate director companies in a number of jurisdictions and actively contribute to strategy meetings.
This is a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a qualified Lawyer, and/or an ambitious trust professional with 10+ years’ experience in the financial services industry and practical and extensive knowledge of trust and company legislation.
Responsibilities will include:
Analysing and understanding the transactions/activities involved with administered fiduciary and corporate structures
Proactively managing client structures and developing trusted relationships with clients, acting as key point of contact for advice
Providing technical assistance on complex documentation, including supporting senior management on complex transactions
Identifying opportunities for business development and assisting with product development and strategy
Actively participating in the management and continuing development of the Family Office
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Lawyer
Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience within the financial services
Extensive knowledge and practice of trust and company legislation
Hands-on management style
Strong organisational skills and commitment to quality client service
