A unique opportunity for an ambitious digital forensic professional to join an award-winning legal firm, where your work will be varied and you will have exposure to challenging and complex work, in a supportive environment.

Working closely with the Chief Information Security Officer, you will help to create a new innovative eDiscovery service for the global litigation practice and handle contentious matters and/or investigations. You'll be involved in all aspects of the legal discovery process, including managing document reviews and investigations, and ensure that firm procedures and best practices are followed when working with digital evidence.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and delivering eDisclosure projects including data subject requests and regulatory and corporate investigations 

  • Handling the day-to-day management of digital evidence and datasets, including maintaining chain-of-custody records and collecting devices

  • Assisting with electronic disclosure exercises, including preparing batches, formulating searches and implementing project updates 

  • Liaising with external electronic disclosure and translation service providers, and also internal IT and legal risk management teams 

  • Providing user support to internal and client users working with document review tools and file sharing platforms 

Experience and skills required:

  • Familiarity with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) 

  • Previous experience or professional qualifications in using industry recognised eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Nuix or Intella Connect 

  • Experience working with electronic evidence and managing electronic disclosure projects

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work using own initiative

  • Good internal or external communication skills
