Lead the UK funds office in a well-regarded multi-jurisdictional financial services provider and take responsibility for the management, growth and development of the team covering fund administration, accounting and company secretarial services within private equity and real estate.

As Director, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth of the business, maximising the contribution of the fund services team to the group, through the support and development of your team, ensuring client service excellence at all times.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a Relationship Manager on a portfolio of client entities 

  • Providing technical and strategic guidance, demonstrating knowledge of corporate governance requirements, internal compliance and anti-money laundering 

  • Leading the implementation of internal policies and procedures, strategies and guiding principles 

  • Managing the performance of your team, championing ideas and building commitment to deliver a first class service to clients 

  • Developing new client relationships via business development activities with prospective clients and intermediaries and contributing to the building of the company brand

  • Overseeing the financial performance of your team and driving the achievement of growth goals 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant finance industry experience 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working at Director or Associate Director level within a fund administration business, with proven expertise in closed ended fund services 

  • Hold a recognised relevant professional qualification 

  • First class knowledge of alternative investment funds and the UK regulatory environment, including current industry legislation 

  • Ability to contribute to strategic decision-making processes and to develop policy, procedures and processes

  • Excellent leadership, motivation and delegation skills
