Become an integral part of a fast-growing global funds business, providing operational risk support and contributing to the strategic direction of the company.
As part of a wider management team, you will lead the funds support teams across the Channel Islands, assisting the Head of Fund Services with the control framework, systems and implementing operational improvement programmes. You will also proactively liaise with clients and contribute towards strategic initiatives, to support the continued growth of the business.
Ideally you will have strong people management experience within the funds industry, and eFront experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Responsibilities will include:
Working collaboratively with other head of departments to ensure the operational and control framework is appropriately mitigating risks
Overseeing the operational support function, monitoring the management of any risks, errors or issues
Overseeing and ensuring contractual agreements are in place for services provided by the business and agreements are all up to date
Collaborating with the senior leadership team and contributing to the business’ strategic objectives, identifying potential business development opportunities
Working with client teams to support client billing
Managing a team, performing appraisals, identifying training needs and managing any absences
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management role within the private equity/real estate fund industry, or audit practice
Excellent working knowledge of offshore funds and the relevant legislation and regulation
Ideally hold a relevant change management qualification, or has practical experience
Ability to lead and develop a team
Methodical approach to tasks and high level of accuracy
