Are you a highly technical IT professional with experience in cloud technologies, looking to be part of a truly unique organisation which is a pioneer in digital asset investing?
A rapidly growing digital asset management firm has a fantastic opportunity for a Cyber Security Engineer to play an important role in paving the way for secure and compliant storage of digital assets for institutional investors.
Working directly with CISO, you will help develop the security of the organisation and incorporate new service offerings, whilst also supporting external requirements such as certifications, external testing and audit requests.
In this role you will also be responsible for the continual improvement and expansion of the Group’s technical security controls. Working across the business functions you will adjust and develop technical controls to support business growth in a secure and sustainable way.
Responsibilities will include:
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading the technical security controls for the protection of the company's network and data
Acting as a leader of security technology projects
Contributing to security related policies and procedures designed to ensure that best practice is adopted across the Group
Identifying, implementing and monitoring security metrics in order to identify any deficiencies within the security systems infrastructure
Keeping abreast of changes in security law and regulation, advising colleagues and stakeholders accordingly
Experience and skills required:
Proven experience working with modern security systems
Strong understanding of emerging technologies and security methodologies including hybrid multi-cloud, containerisation, automation and SOAR
Demonstrable ability to input into the design and deployment of secure, scalable, global business solutions
Proven understanding of network design essential
Specific skills in architecting solutions
