As Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in the cash-flow of the organisation, ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and outstanding invoices chased accordingly.
If you have previous credit control experience or are a Legal Secretary who would like to develop a career within credit control, this could be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring debts are paid within terms and meet cash and debtor targets set by the firm
Building a trusting relationship with partners and fee earners
Chasing overdue invoices
Arranging regular meetings with fee earners to ensure debts are managed as necessary
Assisting with fee earner queries, providing accurate advice
Preparing monthly reports to maximise billing and collection
Experience and skills required:
Previous credit control experience
Experience within a law firm would be an advantage but is not essential
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
Educated to at least GCSE/O level with a B or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Excellent relationship building skills
