A leading law firm is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with previous finance or accounts experience, to provide support to their finance function on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience working within an approachable and experienced team, providing credit control and administrative support.

This role could be based in Jersey or Guernsey.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Daily processing of automated reminders for unpaid client invoices

  • Monitoring office bank accounts for receipts, reconciling details and inputting transactions

  • Dealing with internal and client enquiries regarding account balances, breakdown of charges and copy invoices

  • Assisting with financial reporting

  • Providing support with invoicing, various billing portals, transactions, and related queries

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous finance/accounts experience

  • Confident using Microsoft excel

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
