An international provider of financial services with a strong global presence, is currently seeking a proactive individual to join their corporate governance services team, on a 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance and working alongside colleagues, you will assist with provision of a quality service to in-house companies and committees across Jersey and Guernsey.

Ideally you will already be familiar with Channel Islands corporate legislation. This company thrives on entrepreneurial spirit and is full of proactive people who combine enthusiasm with responsibility and accountability.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating board/committee meeting agendas and preparing board packs 

  • Accurately maintaining and signing off statutory registers

  • Drafting company minutes and resolutions 

  • Ensuring statutory returns, filings and notifications are made at the appropriate time 

  • Validating stock transfer forms 

Experience and skills required:

  • Good technical knowledge of Articles of Incorporation, Limited Partnership Agreements and other legal documents related to corporate governance

  • Familiarity with Channel Islands corporate legislation and regulatory frameworks, and some UK requirements

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work using own initiative

  • Strong communication and minute writing skills

  • Ideally currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification (however this is not essential)
