Working as part of an in-house team, you will support the Group Company Secretary to ensure compliance with appropriate legislation and regulatory and stock exchange listing requirements.
This is an exciting business that has a small yet growing team in Jersey and overseas. This role would suit an ambitious individual that has previous experience in trust, funds or corporate services and is looking for a new challenge and to develop their skills in an asset management environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing company secretarial matters, including renewing regulatory registrations
Attending board/committee meetings, preparing board packs and taking minutes
Providing project assistance during merges and acquisitions and share issues
Accurately maintaining and updating registers
Assisting with drafting stock exchange announcements
Experience and skills required:
2 years’ experience in a financial services role, ideally within corporate or fund services
Either hold or currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification (ideally ICSA)
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive board matters
A self-starter with the ability to use initiative and work independently
