Become an integral part of the compliance team in this driven and ambitious financial services organisation, assisting with the management of the compliance function and taking responsibility for the timely and effective execution of the local compliance monitoring program for Jersey.

This would be a rewarding opportunity for a self-motivated, professional with an audit or compliance monitoring/testing background and a strong risk and control mindset, and you will be responsible for assessing compliance with regulations and policies through conducting reviews.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing compliance monitoring reviews 

  • Developing testing programs and schedules and documenting results 

  • Recording issues identified, analysing findings and recommending improvements for any gaps identified

  • Responding to enquiries from auditors or other service providers

  • Keeping up to date with any regulatory and legislative changes 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of audit, compliance monitoring and testing or relevant compliance experience 

  • Passion for technical compliance and be interested in conducting wide-scale investigating reviews

  • Highly detail oriented and excellent analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise workloads
