This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to oversee the day to day management of Jersey compliance and AML related tasks, whilst also holding a key role acting as Deputy for MLRO for the Associate Director.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring client due diligence is collected and complies with regulatory requirements
Conducting compliance monitoring
Assisting in the drafting of reports for the board and Head of Compliance
Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory requirements and updating internal policies and procedures
Performing the Deputy MLRO role, including assisting with the preparation of suspicious activity reports for the Jersey Financial Crime Unit
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ financial services experience, ideally within a compliance team
Strong working knowledge of the Jersey regulatory framework and AML/CFT handbook
People management experience of a small team would be ideal
Previous experience acting as Deputy MLRO of a JFSC regulated entity
Either hold or currently studying towards the International Diploma in Compliance
