​A new opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary to join a locally owned and managed accountancy firm which provides a range of accounting services to local clients. As a valued member of the team, you will deliver a Company Secretarial offering with a focus on excellence in client service, identifying improvements to internal processes and providing recommendations to the Company Secretarial Manager. Flexible hours can also be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing share certificates, share ledgers, registers, stock transfer forms and agreements

  • Ensuring files are kept up to date

  • Preparing correspondence for clients and Lawyers and liaising with third parties as required

  • Making the necessary filings for client companies

  • Assisting with dissolutions and liquidations

  • Attending Board and shareholder meetings and taking minutes

Experience and skills required:

  • Either hold or currently studying towards ICSA diploma or a relevant table 5 qualification

  • Previous experience working with company secretarial systems and confident using Microsoft products

  • Strong regulatory knowledge of Jersey Company Laws

  • Familiarity with the share transfer property market

  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
