Join an aspiring, forward thinking business specialising in online media and technology. As Commercial Legal Counsel for the group, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Legal and take on responsibility for commercial contracts including review, negotiation and execution.
In this varied role you will provide advice on data protection, commercial contract negotiation and preparation, advertising and marketing, group structuring, IP protection, and general business needs (HR, licensing, global regulations, etc).

Responsibilities will include:
Taking the lead on dealing with a broad range of commercial contracts, understanding the need to protect the business whilst remaining pragmatic and strategic
Providing advice on a wide range of commercial matters, such as intellectual property, advertising, marketing law, data protection and technology
Overseeing contractual obligations and maintaining contractual and regulatory relations
Liaising with third party external legal advisors, asking them to provide expert opinions and advice
Implementing a risk and contract register to mitigate and manage any legal risks
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Lawyer with at least 3 years’ post qualification experience in a commercial, technology and/or data protection environment gained within a law firm or online business
Previous experience with corporate and commercial contracts
Ability to break down complex issues and approach them in a forward-thinking manner
Confident communication skills
