In this role, you will benefit from the in-depth knowledge and experience from teams across the industry, working with the front office and compliance to onboard new clients and ensure conformity with KYC and AML standards. You will also be part of a team providing general and administrative support to the Investments Managers to ensure clients receive a first class service.
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing all new account documentation, ensuring all the necessary documentation has been received
Carrying out an initial risk assessment and due diligence check using internal and external profiling tools
Liaising with the compliance team for final sign off on all new clients on the Jersey platform
Monitoring the progress and timeliness of account opening and cash/asset transfers, ensuring all internal administrative checklists are completed
Liaising with private clients and intermediaries including fiduciaries and financial advisers to help resolve general administration queries
Creating payments and monitoring cash balances on overdrawn and closed accounts
Experience and skills required:
Previous experience in a similar role
Understanding of AML and client due diligence and current relevant legislation
Proactive team player
Acts in a professional manner at all times
Takes initiative for own work but also works well as part of a team
