An excellent part-time opportunity for a compliance professional, providing support to a dedicated compliance department within an entrepreneurial fiduciary business, for 30 hours per week.

Utilising your background in compliance and excellent working knowledge of corporate governance and risk management in this key person role, you will act as the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer to various regulated client funds and fund services businesses and also provide support to the in-house investment advisory business

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the relevant boards to ensure regulated clients comply with regulatory requirements 

  • Monitoring policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure these are operating in line with regulations and industry best practice

  • Accurately maintaining compliance records and registers 

  • Acting as a principal point of contact on day to day regulatory, anti-money laundering and counter finance terrorism issues

  • Providing direction on all policies and procedures, including finance crime policies and financial sanctions 

Experience and skills required:

  • A good working knowledge of the regulation and operation of funds in Jersey 

  • Previous compliance experience 

  • Detailing knowledge of AML, CFT and all related financial crime legislation, codes and regulatory guidance

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain regulatory concepts 

  • Hold a relevant professional compliance qualification
