Manage a talented, highly motivated and driven team of Accounts Preparers and Bookkeepers within a reputable financial services group, who continuously deliver exceptional client service levels which sets them apart from their competitors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring financial statements are prepared in line with deadlines

  • Managing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management reporting

  • Reviewing financial statements for trust, company and corporate entities in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards

  • Overseeing the completion of tax returns

  • Monitoring the team workload and proposing improvements where required

Experience and skills required:

  • Ability to review accounts of a complex nature for trusts and companies

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification

  • Good working knowledge of current financial reporting standard changes and requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of VAT and UK and Jersey taxation of companies and trusts

  • Confident excel user
