A new Chief Operating Officer opportunity for a talented fiduciary and trust professional who is passionate and solutions driven. Working closely with the Managing Director and Senior Trust Director, you will play a key role overseeing the operations of the trust business.
You will also identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency, minimise risk and provide support and guidance to client facing teams, ensuring best practice is adopted across the business.
Within this trust business, you will be encouraged to take a hands-on approach and will have freedom to innovate while benefiting from the support of a dynamic and value-creating team culture.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the day to day operational activity within the business
Providing guidance and acting as a point of referral for staff regarding the operational activities of the business
Devising and driving forward operational change programmes
Conducting performance appraisals and supporting staff development and training
Acting as deputy to the Managing Director
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 10 years’ management practice of trust and fiduciary administration/accounting services
Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as table 4 or table 5, as outlined by the JFSC (ICSA, ACCA or equivalent)
Good technical understanding of current industry developments and general best practice
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and commitment to delivering a quality service to clients
