In this role you will support the continuous enhancement and transformation of the group's business solutions portfolio, leveraging advancements in technology to adapt and improve business processes to meet requirements in line with the group's business and technology strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership for a part of the business solutions portfolio and become the subject matter expert in a set of assigned solutions
Contributing to the delivery of internal projects and initiatives, ranging from simple integrations and automations to extensive application implementations and system transformations
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Performing routine business solution maintenance, upgrades and releases
Troubleshooting technical issues and responding to requests for support when required, analysing root cause of common and recurring issues and proposing permanent solutions
Experience and skills required:
Previous relevant applications and/or development experience in a professional services organisation
Ability to spot and analyse trends
Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
Previous experience of working within an IT change control and release management environment
Ability to demonstrate SQL query writing skills would be an advantage
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude required
