Contribute to the success of an award-winning bank and oversee the business development and marketing of fiduciary services, identifying opportunities for growth with new and existing clients within designated regions.
Using your previous business development experience within financial services, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities with internally referred clients and third parties. You will also play an active role in developing the business development strategy and provide specialist product support to the Jersey, London and other international teams, assisting with the marketing of the bank’s trust and fiduciary services.
You will also maintain and grow strong business relationships and be confident networking on a regular basis. Some travel will be required, primarily to London.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and driving the trust and fiduciary strategy, identifying potential new clients and business growth opportunities
Working towards agreed business development and revenue targets for new and existing clients
Building and maintaining a strong network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Supporting Wealth Managers in developing relationships with clients
Producing the business development plan in line with the overall strategy and ensuring effective management reporting
Assisting with recruitment drives and playing an active role in improving employment engagement
Experience and skills required:
Ideally hold a relevant professional qualification such as ICSA, STEP or ACCA
Minimum 8 years’ experience in direct financial product sales
Previous experience presenting structuring proposals to clients
Experience travelling to emerging markets
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
