A fantastic opportunity for a motivated Audit Manager to take the next step in their career with a dynamic and forward-thinking accounting and advisory firm.
As a senior member of the audit team, you will lead the delivery of audit services to a varied portfolio of clients which will include both financial and non-financial services clients, manage team workloads and support Directors to identify new business development opportunities.
Working alongside a team that is extremely knowledgeable, refreshingly approachable and highly accessible, your opinion will be valued and professional development will be supported.
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as a mentor to team members and providing coaching to assist them with reaching their personal career goals
Liaising with Directors on risk management and technical matters
Contributing to the development of new business relationships and business proposals
Engaging with clients on technical and audit judgement decisions
Participating in budgeting, tracking performance and invoicing
Experience and skills required:
Previous audit experience, including experience at Audit Manager level within an audit practice environment
Hold a relevant professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA)
Experience managing a wide portfolio of varied client audits running concurrently
Strong technical knowledge of UK and international financial reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
