As a key member of a talented, highly motivated and driven team, you will create an environment of constant business growth in line with company strategy and identify business development opportunities. You will also be a source of technical expertise for colleagues and build strong working relationships with existing and prospective clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a trust professional who has comprehensive knowledge of and a proven track record in offshore fiduciary services, to make a difference to this independent trust company. You will also have responsibility for all aspects of client relationships and ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of client needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of business plans, ensuring these are aligned with group objectives 

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, travelling to meet existing and prospective clients 

  • Keeping up to date with any industry changes which might impact services offered 

  • Assisting with the budgeting process and client billing

  • Supporting the set up and take on of new clients, managing any queries

  • Providing leadership and identifying training opportunities for more junior team members

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in fiduciary services, including 5 years’ senior management experience 

  • Ideally be a member of a relevant professional body 

  • Proven track record in client relationship management and a good understanding of offshore fiduciary services 

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 

  • Previous exposure to business development initiatives
